Save Our Bluffs

I live close to the Scarborough Bluffs and am surrounded by nature. The Bluffs are an important habitat for many threatened and endangered species.  The Bluffs are one of the few remaining spaces within the Greater Toronto area where you can still view some of this magnificent wildlife, including Bald Eagles, Snapping Turtles, Minks and Trumpeter Swans. Right now the there is a chance that precious wild life living close to me may be displaced in order to further “develop” this 70,000 year old natural beauty.  To find out more about this issue and to learn about a beautiful, geographic area please visit thewildbluffs.com  There is some beautiful photography on the website and a petition you can sign to lend your support. My colleagues – the wild animals of assorted, majestic species need your support.

Living in an urban jungle

That racoon is trespassing in my tree! Possums, skunks and wild mink visit my back yard.  I live in Toronto.  My neighbours also have deer and foxes and coyotes. My humans are animal lovers but  I am a “companion animal” with servants attending my every whim and I have an image to maintain. So Mr. Racoon…….get out of my tree!

Sucky George’s Party

My humans had a Birthday Party for my frenemy Sucky George.  The fluffy white cat.  What can I say – his name says it all.  Sucky was a beautiful fluffy white male cat but he wasn’t too bright.  My humans took good care of him but eventually he passed away due to complications with diabetes.

I have many talents

I love to consult an Ouiji board to find out when my humans are going to buy new cat food.

012Would you believe a plump, black squirrel had the nerve to look through the patio door at me while I was taking a nap?  What would that make him? A Peeping Squirrel?
